Another excellent week of helping authors promote their work across the web.
I have to start with MJ (only because she’s from my hometown). MJ has written a number of interesting books and now uses our widget to promote her work online, allowing visitors to her site to interact with her books in a rich way, transacting on their preferred site.
Linda - author of Thirst and other books - has an awesome post that explains the benefit of widgets and SmartLinks to authors: “There are many ways of advertising a self published book online. One such way, (the tao, if you like) are Smart links and Widgets from AdaptiveBlue.” The tao? Niiice. Thank you Linda.
John is a member of the Society for New Communications Research (SNCR). He’s also a loyal reader of this blog (niice!). His book is one of a number that’s highlighted in the Books by SNCR Fellows widget. John requested the widget and found “the process was very easy, from title to layout.” Here it is:
