Are you an author? Here is a simple way to promote your book - make a SmartLink Widget.
Here is an example - the Naked conversations book by Robert Scoble:
Widget with the Grab button:
A thumb and a link:
Book SmartLink button:
Basic link with a button:
Cover turned into a SmartLink:
Instantly, you will give your readers a way to learn more about your book. They can read about it on the site of their choice, find reviews, compare prices on different sites.
You can also instantly tap into the social web. The readers can save links to your book to Shelfari, Good Reads, LibraryThing, del.icio.us, Facebook and many other sites.
By promoting your book via SmartLink you are also promoting yourself. Each book SmartLink will have shortcuts to other books that you’ve written, as well as your bio on Wikipedia and additional links on Google.
You can see more examples of author’s promoting their books on Seth Godin, Connie Bennett, Ben Casnocha, Terry Bain, Bea Fields, David Rendall, Matthew Gosselin, as well as our author gallery.
You can make the widget yourself in just a few minutes using BlueOrganizer or email us and we would be happy to make one for you.

Well, look there… I’m a listed author guy.
Blessings on y’all. I’m still working on wedging the entire universe into a SmartLink. I’ll let you know if I’m successful.

THE LINK IS GREAT, AND I HAVE A QUESTION!!? ISNT THE LINK ON YOUR OWN WEB/BLOG IN THE FIRST PLACE?..SO IF A PERSON IS ON YOUR SITE WHY WOULD IT BENIFIT HIM/HER TO CLICK THE LINK?
IM NOT AS COMPUTER LITERATE AS MOST BUT WOULDNT IT MAKE MORE SENSE TO HAVE THE LINK ON OTHER SITES MORE SO THAN YOUR OWN?
Thanks for your comment KODIACK. There are 2 different use cases. The reason for the link on your site is so that you can help people connect with your book in different parts of the web.
And then yes, the widget is also useful because it does the same thing regardless of where it is.
