The First Million

A short while ago, somebody, somewhere in the world decided to give BlueOrganizer a try. What made this extra special was that this was the millionth time this has happened.

It is easy to become reflective when celebrating this major milestone. It does not seem that long ago that we watched the download count go from 999 to 1000, and that was a big deal. Not that much later when we added another digit to go to 10,000 downloads, we were very excited that the word was getting out and we were starting to catch on. At 100,000 we felt like we were on to something.

Now here we are, just over a year after launching at DEMOFall, and we’ve reached a million downloads. Beyond being reflective, we feel like we are just getting started. We have wonderful new features coming for BlueOrganizer that will change the game. We’re also very close to launching a new way for creating SmartLinks that we expect will bring the blue squares to many more great sites across the web.

So, as we begin our march to two million, we want to thank everyone that has helped us get here - the staff who have worked so hard, our investors who provide much more than just money, bloggers and writers who have covered us, and most of all, the million people who made the decision to browse smarter.

What a fantastic news!

We are thrilled to have so many people be interested in our technology.

And like Andy said, we are just getting started. Next week we are going to launch an exciting new version of SmartLinks, please stay tuned.

And the last but certainly not least… Thanks so much to the AdaptiveBlue team. Everyone has been working very very hard.

Our company is a real testament to what a small team of dedicated people can accomplish in a short period of time. Rock on guys!
