Firefox 2.0.0.6 and Caching

There are have been complains about Firefox performance lately. Since Firefox 2.0.0.6 came out recently and so did BlueOrganizer 3.2.2 release we are concerned. We want to make sure that it is not our code that has issues. So far we have not found anything with the BlueOrganizer that would indicate that there problems.

We did notice that in the latest release, Firefox seems to cache things more aggressively. Some extensions, including BlueOrganizer, rely on configuration files that need to be up to date. It is possible that the issues are caused by the fact that old configuration files are being served. We do not know for sure, but we recommend that you clear private data. Select Tools => Clear Private Data and then configure the dialog like this:

Please let us know if this makes a difference for you.

Yesterday you wrote about cashing in and today you write about caching out.

But seriously, if anyone is seeing problems with Firefox that they think *might* be related to BlueOrganizer, please let us know. We want to be 100% certain that our code is rock solid.

I have a different problem in Firefox 2.0.0.6: I can’t access the Smartlinks Feeds tab in the options. it is always empty - just a line saying “need help? see online help…”
I’ve added a few items to my Bluemarks organizer, now i want to publish them, but its impossible as the Smartlinks feed tab offers me no options.
Is there a fix for that?
