The Huffington Post Integrates Glue for Books

by Fraser on November 10, 2009 · Comments

We are happy to share that The Huffington Post has integrated Glue for Books across their site and have become our newest publishing partner.

Recently launched, the implementation enables The Huffington Post to provide readers with a richer browsing experience.

At the bottom of every article in The Huffington Post’s new book section readers will find a widget with books related to the article’s author.

A Glue Tooltip appears when a book’s cover is clicked. The tooltip provides a way to experience and explore the book on The Huffington Post and other top book sites across the web.

There are 5 content rich tabs within the tooltip. The main tab includes the book’s title, author, summary and social information. Secondary tabs include links to purchase the book, a way to browse inside the book, in-place Amazon reviews, and share options for Facebook and Twitter.

We are pleased to call such a fast growing publisher a partner and have enjoyed working with the team at The Huffington Post on this implementation.

We look forward to providing their readers with a better experience via the Glue Book Widgets.
