After reading a Glue-r’s comment how often do you find yourself wondering “how alike our are tastes?” as you try to interpret what they’ve shared?
The answer, as we’ve learned from your feedback, is fairly often. And so today we’re introducing People Tooltips on GetGlue.com that leverage the recently launched Things in Common feature.
Mousing over a person’s picture loads a tooltip that shows a quick snapshot of the user, including their top interests, level of activity on Glue, and Things in Common.
The new People Tooltips build off of the success of the new Object Tooltips on GetGlue.com and make useful information immediately accessible.
For example, despite having liked a combined 1,160 items, my friend CherryBlossom MJ and I only have 6 Things in Common. So a positive comment from her about the the movie 27 Dresses should be taken with a grain of salt.
Whereas, my friend Vada and I have 292 Things in Common, so his positive comment on Mulholland Drive is something I’ll want to pay attention to.
We hope you enjoy the new People Tooltips and the ability to access a quick snapshot about the individual who’s connect to the movie, album or book that you’re looking at.
